Yan Durepaire's yard based in Madrid Hipódromo de la Zarzuela, a wonderful racetrack built in 1941 and declared by Spanish authorities National Monument, and one of the most beautiful racetrack in Europe. Both of the two tracks, grass and polytrack, are considered two of the best, it also has a second dirt track for taining and a small dirt course for breaking yearlings La Zarzuela is located 8 kms from Madrid on "El Pardo" one of the best places close to the spanish capital, a great place to have a horse in training. Yan works with more than 60 boxes for his horses in training, which includes horses of a great number of owners some of the most recognized and popular in Spain and internationally, horses of Javier Salmeán (Doctor Dino´s owner) from Real Madrid players Raul Gonzalez and Michel Salgado Cuadra Vigo, De La Fuente Stud (Synergy) Anthony Forde (Stoneside and Diableside) and many more owners that we want to thank for their fidelity and confidence in Yan´s dedication. In his magnificent yard with a team of 17 great staff he develops the dreams of racing. |
